The DeadFly Story...

    True and Funny story! I'll start with last night, My 4 year old Zac was in his bathroom brushing his teeth, I walked in to check his pearly whites when a fly buzzed right by my ear. Now if theres one thing I don't allow in my house besides dirty shoes, it's flies! Especially cause they always seem to dive bomb your heads first thing in the mornings when you re trying to sleep. Ever had that happen... Its rare but they do do that I promise!
      Anywhos, so I instinctively close the door right away, find a washcloth and start eyeball tracking the suspect. He lands! I swat. Miss. He's off flying circles between the shower and myself. Then he( Assuming it's a he cause it has no manners!) he lands on the vanity mirror. I take a quick swat and it falls to the sink! With it in shock I have a few minutes... scratch that a few seconds to get a piece of toilet paper pinch the fly and throw it in the toilet. Now my son watched me in amazement the whole time! when I apprehended the suspect he wanted to watch it try to escape the toilet. I saw no harm in the fascination of it so I left him squatting down staring at the fly. Told him to flush when he was done, and I left it at that!
                         The next morning, (today) McKenzie my 6 year old walks in my room and says, " Mom! Something bad happened!" "What honey?" I asked. Her eyes weld up and she said," I don't think I've been wiping good when I go number 2, cause this morning I went potty and wiped and when I pulled my pants up and turned around there was a dead fly in my wipe!"........ Ya that's was my initial thought too! Omg my daughter is wiping Dead flies out of her butt, she must have worms. Turns out her brother never flushed the toilet and the fly was just left over from the night before when I murdered it for attempting to dive bomb my head. I explained the situation and crisis was averted! now to explain to her why our dogs pee pee turns "pinkish reddish" when he's "Happy". ♥

Green Tea Cupcakes!

I Love Tazo's Green tea with spearmint in it! So I took a plain White cake box mix added and subtracted from the directions and brewed up a strong batch of tea! Made up my vanilla buttercream, minus the vanilla and sub the green tea. I was just playing around but the cupcakes came out so refreshing! it was cake but it gave you a really healthy feeling eating it. Sounds weird huh? But it was amazing! ♥ Try it! I dare ya!

Cohan turned 2!!! And this year I made him Dirtbike Cupcakes, and all toppers were cut out and painted by hand, Lots of love went into these! Just another photo to add to by portfolio!

Youtube Rocks!

I can see it now, my own baking show!♥ 

I've said it before but Youtube is the best place to get how to videos! Especially for hair and make up! Part of me is so tempted to start my own! I mean every now and then I like to super indulge in a good make up sessions and do the hair extension, But man! Everyday! thats alot of work to have people notice you and to actually want your advice! As soom as I can come up with something that Im good at maybe one day Ill make a how to video!♥ Who knows maybe I could get my own cupcake show! I'd be the brunette Casey Reinhardt!

Eloping In Vegas!

Isn't a fun idea? We had been in Vegas for about 3 days with our friends Ken and Tanya, when we decided we wanted to "re-new" our vows so We took a cab ride down to the court house, Bought ourselves a licence and hit The World Famous Pawn Shop. From Pawn Stars. I was a little disappointed with how small it was and there were no recognizable stars from the show so we caught another cab back up the strip and found a local David's Bridal The Boys went and played some slots in a near by casino while Tanya and I tried on dresses. There were so many to choose from but I knew I wanted a tea length dress, and a bird cage vail. Luckily there was one dress my size on the model. It fit perfectly so I took it and the vail and also a pair of Verra Wang white silk flats.Then we fit up a flower shop next door. We caught a break because her new order had just come in minutes before we walked in! She was able to make me a bouquet in about an hour. Everything Seriously just fell into place that day! On our way back to the room we needed to find a chapel. and the Little White Chapel seemed so cheesy and over done. We wanted something that said Vegas but still down to earth. That's when our Cab driver suggested the Chapel of the West, Claimed Angelina and Billy Bob were married there. Lol that wasn't a selling point. But what was a selling point was that it was right across from the Mandalay Bay, where we were staying! And It was so cute! An old wooden Chapel on a small green hill. I was sold the Minute we drove by! Bobby called and made the reservations for 7 o'clock and he even surprised me with a stretch Limo out front! Ive never been in one so I felt like a complete princess!  As luck had it I was having a perfect hair day and the Mac Make-up store was able to slip me in for a free make up session! So I walked out with my make up done, fake lashes on and feeling sexy! Over all this was the best Vegas trip ever!

    I highly recommend if you're going to Vegas to look on line and find a club promoter to get yourself "on the list". Then they text you the information, when to show up and sometimes your guys get in free too! We hit up the Ghost Bar, Jet, and Club Liquid. It was amazing! Go when the places are less busy and you're more likely to get things for free or a lower cost than if you go when they're busy! And Check out the Cupcakery in the Monte Carlo! Their cupcakes where amazing!!
